About

Dinner Time

Understanding food as soul nourishment and as a healing connects us back to each other, back to home and family. The way flavours and smells can transport you back to the hands of your mother when she fed you as a child or the heat of Lagos streets as you eat roast boli, peanuts and suya, or feasting on rundown on the shores of Little Corn Island in Nicaragua.

Ebi’s is about reclaiming history, ancestry and memory. And it's a celebration because, in a continent-spanning 54 countries and over 1.2 billion people, not including its diaspora, there is a rich and diverse gastronomical experience waiting to be devoured.

We've made it super easy for you to explore a world of deliciousness by bringing them together in one place. You'll discover culinary books by writers, chefs and cooks of Africa, its diasporic heritage, as well as the best of Black Britain.

We keep updating our collection, so be sure to sign up for our newsletter and check back often.

Get in touch if you can't find the title you're looking for, or head to Ebi's at Bookshop.org.uk for our wider selection.

Proudly Black woman-owned.
